St. Paul Church Vacation Bible School

St. Paul Lutheran Church, of 286 Delavan Avenue, will be having its annual Vacation Bible School this year with the theme Gangway to Galilee.

It will take place Monday, Aug. 11, to Friday, Aug. 15, from 9 to 12:30. Children, four to 12 years old, will learn about how Jesus calls them, teaches them, keeps them safe, saves them, and provides for all they need.

The children will take part in storytelling and arts and crafts. Wednesday, Aug. 13, Animal Embassy of Stamford will be coming to give the children a viewing and lesson of various exotic animals.

Another part of this VBS initiative is that a free will donation will be accepted from families to go to the St. Paul Youth Ministry, and a charity, “Gospel Nets,” which will disperse monies among Africa, South America and Asia to purchase Bibles and supplies for children, transportation means for pastors to go from church to church, and to rebuild churches.

Questions about registration may be addressed to Director Susan Cassano at 203-869-5787.
