CLAY Health Club + Spa opens new facility

CLAY Health Club + Spa will open a new 25,000-square-foot facility at 11 Riverdale Avenue in Port Chester, N.Y., near the New York/Greenwich border this month.

This club features indoor valet parking, a gourmet café by Maison Prive, fireside lounge, roof deck and member’s lounges, a full spa, locker rooms with steam, sauna and Malin + Goetz amenities; five dedicated training studios; Master Group Exercise, Pilates, Yoga, Spin and Golf Performance Training; best in breed cardio and strength training equipment and significant functional training space.

Flooded with natural light, the club is described as having a natural, open and airy feel. Additionally, CLAY is a private club with a membership cap that guarantees a spacious, peaceful environment.

Originally founded in 2002, CLAY offered an integrated wellness environment including personal training, Pilates, group fitness classes, nutritional guidance and spa therapies, allowing members to design lifestyle programs that served their goals and visions.

The current owners, Seth Hirschel and Stefan Malter, acquired CLAY in 2009 and are focused on reaffirming CLAY’s mission and growing the business. Drawing from their backgrounds in management, business development and entrepreneurial ventures, they have streamlined operations and created new product offerings. Every detail of club operations and the entire focus of the CLAY team are geared toward anticipating the needs of members and then exceeding their expectations.

Currently accepting reservations for founding memberships, CLAY’s owners say thay have been extremely well received by the Westchester and Greenwich communities and look forward to delivering excellence in fitness to this new market.
