Celebrity Manhattan tailor opens pop-up store in Old Greenwich

Mohan’s is hosting a one-day pop-up store for men seeking a New York City custom tailoring experience in their backyard in Greenwich this coming Tuesday.

The event, which takes place July 29 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., is part of a 17-city in 20-day tour from Boston to northern Virginia. Mohan’s allows customers to select from more than 10,000 fabrics, 40 suit styles, 16 shirt cuff styles and 20 collar styles, along with myriad personalized touches like number of pockets, number of buttons, handmade buttons, lapel size, jacket vents, custom jacket linings and more.

The tailor offers 25-plus measurements, aand can take digital photographs to perfectly match the suit to the contours of their client’s frame. When the suit is complete, the client receives the product at a shipping address of their choice. Turnaround time is three to four weeks.

Mohan’s Custom Tailors of midtown Manhattan counts numerous celebrities among its clientele, and has designed more than 150,000 crafted, made-to-order men’s suits, shirts, formalwear and top-coats since opening in 1972.
