Get park, museum passes at Greenwich Library

Summer is a great time to take advantage of Greenwich Library’s park and museum pass program and explore the great Nutmeg State.

Passes are available to library cardholders and provide free admission or discounts to a variety of Connecticut State parks, forests, and beaches as well as select area museums.

The passes may be checked out for three days at a time on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations or renewals are permitted and a $1 per day late fee will be charged for overdue passes. Passes are available at the main library to both Greenwich Library and Perrot Library cardholders.

Available packages include admission to Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield for two adults and children, admission for two adults and two children to the Bruce Museum, admission for two adults and four children to the Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport for two adults and four children. At Connecticut state parks, the pass will waive entrance fees for all state parks and forests and is valid for two adults and four children. At the Connecticut’s Old State House in Hartford the pass will admit two adults and two children, and the Discovery Museum and Planetarium is offering admission for two adults and four children under 18.

Earth Place in Westport offers admission to one family of four, the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme offers admission for two adults and two children under 12 and the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk is offering a $2 off combination ticket for up to six people. Mystic Aquarium in Mystic is offering $5 for up to four people, Stamford Museum and Nature Center is offering admission for two adults and their children and the pass will allow one family or two adults admission to the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, N.Y. Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk is offering one free admission with each purchase of one admission at the regular price ($14) and Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford will admit two adults and two children.
