Greeenwich Hospital’s Under the Stars gets boost from Cam Atkinson

CamKHA6Greenwich’s Cam Atkinson, a local hockey legend now playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets, will be on hand tonight, July 11, to help the Greenwich Hospital Under the Stars event.

Mr. Atkinson will be participating in the auction for the event and will be there to give a “once-in-a-lifetime experience” for two kids to have lunch and get a “street hockey” lesson with him and a surprise guest to the winning bidder. Additionally, Mr. Atkinson will also give the winning bidder signed Blue Jackets gear.

Under the Stars will take place at the Riverside Yacht Club tonight from 7 to 11:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Greenwich Hospital’s smallest and most vulnerable patients who need the services of the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Department.

Greenwich residents Brooke Bremer, Lauren O’Malley and Jessica Reardon, RN, are serving as co-chairs.
