Greenwich Arts Council presents Sounds for a Summer Night

The Greenwich Arts Council (GAC) invites residents to Sounds for a Summer Night on Wednesday, July 16, a concert performed by The Chamber Players of the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra.

The evening’s program is comprised of the following pieces: Haydn String Quartet No. 64 in D Major, Op.76 No.5, Medtner Magic Violin for piano from Fairy Tales, Op.34, Panufnik String Quartet No.3 “Wycinanki” (Paper Cuts) and Brahms Piano Quartet No.1 in G Minor, Op.25. Made possible by the underwriting support of the Friends of The Chamber Players, the concert will be performed by Krystof Witek, violin, Susan Hytken-Metcalf, violin, David Creswell, viola, Daniel Miller, cello, and Andrew Gordon, piano.

Admission is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. Seating is limited and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.

Reservations can be made by calling the GAC office at 203-862-6750. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. on July 16. The Greenwich Arts Council is located at 299 Greenwich Avenue on the second floor and is handicap accessible. The program will take place in the Council Meeting Room.
