Bruce Museum unveils iCreate

The Bruce Museum’s youth committee has unveiled its annual iCreate exhibition, featuring 47 works of art created by high school students. Pieces were selected by a jury after an open call to regional high schools and will be displayed in the museum’s lecture gallery alongside a digital presentation of all the entries through July 6.

Continuing the spirit of the museum’s current tale of Two Cities: New York & Beijing exhibition, students from Tianjin No. 2 High School in China were allowed to submit work for the iCreate exhibit as well. Greenwich High School and Tianjin No. 2 are currently partnered through the Confucius Classroom program.

In addition to the jury selected winners, there will be a people’s choice award vote held both online and in person. Each piece featured in the exhibit has been given a number to be used in the voting process, and can be viewed via the Bruce Museum website at Brucemuseum.org.
