There’s danger in the desert that’s being ignored

Here I am wanting to expose the wrongs of Greenwich and the world, and then I hear news of a new radical Islamic group that even Al Qaeda has disavowed.

The media just discovered them from comments just made on Capitol Hill and I ask why. Why, all of a sudden, do I hear a new huge threat in half of Syria, now part of Iraq with these extremely intense zealot hordes, reminiscent of Muslims that fought the Crusaders?

What on earth are we doing, I complain. There’s been one-sided reporting for years and now we’re caught off guard. The media harps on Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for weeks, literally flogging us with repetitive “big, current news stories” until they become stale like the Malaysian airliner lost. They do not see the brewing danger.

Looking at the ISIS Muslims zealots, I feel we should all be zealots. If everyone in our Great Society had a zealot’s dedication to a just society built on humanity’s greatest ideals, then much of what be happening would not.

If CNN months ago warned of these new radicals developing in Syria, would Obama have done right with Syria’s patriots, like Clinton did in Yugoslavia? No, because like the media, he dwelled on current opinions’ directions. As the media overcovers news for ratings, Obama and others works on popular notions.

Doing right, instead of what the party, company or public opinion dictates, would make the world a better place with less injustice.

Iraqi soldiers are not standing their lines. Like South Vietnamese soldiers so many years ago, they feel abandoned without the support of those that trained them. Whether this is Obama’s or Bush’s fault, the main cause is our faltering American principles of doing right, as theirs for doing wrong.

Bringing us right to what I have complained about so often on, altering facts with extreme glorifying of bad, not right, conduct. From a newsman I received “it’s only a movie” on my complaints about Inglourious Basterds. Well, all of a sudden there’s danger in the desert and I know it will not be a movie.
