Kids in Crisis seeks over 100 volunteers for KIC IT Triathlon

Kids in Crisis is seeking a minimum of 100 additional volunteers for one of its biggest fundraisers, the Navigators Stamford KIC IT Triathlon on Sunday, June 22 at Mill River Park, Stamford.

With the event just three weeks away, we hope community members will volunteer and reach out to co-workers, friends and family members to help spread the word or to recruit a small team of volunteers.

All volunteers receive a volunteer T-shirt, goody bag, light breakfast and lunch, have a great time and support a great cause.

Kids in Crisis, based in Cos Cob, is Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community education programs for children and families.

The emergency shelter facilities are home to children, ages newborn to 17-years-old, suffering from abuse, neglect, financial hardship, family illness, addiction and more.  Last year, Kids in Crisis services helped 6,156 Connecticut children and families.
