Greenwich Historical Society hosts Festa Al Fresco

Dine al fresco and celebrate Greenwich’s Italian community at the Greenwich Historical’s annual potlock supper on Sunday, June 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bush-Holley Historic Site.

The Festa Al Fresco was launched last year as part of the Historical Society’s programming for its exhibition

From Italy to America and in celebration of Greenwich’s sister relationships with the Italian cities of Rose and Morra di Sanctis, where many of Greenwich’s Italian early immigrants hailed from.

Now, back by popular demand for a second year, guests are invited to demonstrate their culinary skills and to show off favorite family recipes (enough to share with six to eight) in one of four categories: antipasti/appetizers, pasta/main dishes, sides and salads, or desserts.

Wine, musical entertainment and crafts for kids are included in the price of admission.

Reservations are required. Indicate what dish you’ll be bringing to the potluck upon reservation.

Tickets for members are $10.

For nonmembers, tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids six to 12 years old. Kids under six attend free.

To reserve a space, visit Greenwichhistory.org or call 203-869-6899, ext. 10.
