Greenwich Hospital was great before Corvino got there

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor

In the Post’s May 22 article about the retirement of Frank Corvino as CEO of Greenwich Hospital, we must take issue with his quote that  “When we first got here, the place was a good hospital but it wasn’t a great one.”

As much as we respect Frank and as grateful as we are for what he has accomplished for our Greenwich Hospital, we have to respond to the use of the word “good.” From 1957 with the new hospital, Greenwich Hospital has been the greatest community hospital in the state of Connecticut.
