Greenwich’s Angel Choir closes its season

On Sunday, June 1, the Angel Choir will offer its last performance before the summer break.

The scheduled program includes the choir’s favorite pieces from over the last year including spirituals, classical selections and Ave Maria settings. All are invited, no audition is required and everyone is promised the joy of reviving their spirits while making music together because the Angel Choir is for everyone.

Check Angelchoir.org for more information.

There will be a 4 p.m. rehearsal and a 6 p.m. performance at the Diamond Hill United Methodist Church, 521 East Putnam Avene, Cos Cob.

According to event organizers, the Angel Choir is serving in a unique fashion to reach out to all who want to sing, to revive your own spirits and those around you and find camaraderie in the joy of sharing through music making. Take advantage of this opportunity to find the singer within you.

The Angel Choir rehearses and performs a complete choral performance in one afternoon while providing a platform for cancer patients, survivors, their families and friends or anyone who would like to sing to revivify their spirit.

No audition or sight-singing skills required and choir leaders say it is a learning experience that is not to be missed.
