New head at Doctors Express Stamford

Doctors Express Stamford, a national leader in urgent care walk-in clinics, has announced that David M. Lauren, D.O., has joined the team as medical director and lead physician, effective June 2.

Dr. Lauren brings two decades of experience in family medicine and urgent care to his new position. He most recently provided urgent care services to children and adults at the multiple walk-in centers of the Northeast Medical Group/Yale New Haven Health System. Previously he practiced family medicine with Northeast Medical Group/Yale New Haven Health and with St. Vincent’s Multi-Specialty Group. From 1994 through 2009, he was a family practice physician in Ohio, where he provided services including inpatient care at Genesis HealthCare System’s Bethesda Hospital and Good Samaritan Medical Center.

“I look forward to bringing my experience in family medicine and urgent care to the new full-service, patient-friendly Doctors Express Stamford walk-in center,” said Dr. Lauren. “It’s exciting to join an organization that believes in convenient, top-quality medical services and facilities and help the new Stamford clinic become a trusted community health resource.”

Doctors Express Stamford, which is owned by Greenwich resident Brad Radulovacki, will be opening its new facility, a time-saving, cost-effective alternative to the ER for many injuries and illnesses, in mid-June.
