Seniors enjoyed a riverside tea party on Feb. 19 at Greenwich Adult Day Care (GADC)’s Second Annual Silver Tea Party on the Mianus.

At the event, 55 seniors enjoyed desserts and tea, all set to the accompaniment of piano music by Jay Louden.

GADC member Russ Bowman commented in a press release, “I had a very nice time and certainly enjoyed all the goodies. The chocolate éclair was my favorite.”

The tea party was made possible by the event sponsor Woman’s Club of Greenwich.

“Everyone had a fantastic time! We definitely look forward to seeing them again next year,” said GADC’s Assistant Program Coordinator Lyndsay De Matteo, in a press release.

At the conclusion the names of all visitors present were placed in a basket. Those whose names were called went home with one of the beautiful primrose plants that served as table centerpieces.
