Greenwich Senior center computer courses launch this month

With the increasing importance of personal devices in a digital world, it’s more vital than ever that people become computer literate. Classes are now being offered in town for all ages and all capabilities:

The Greenwich Senior Center for Computer Learning is offering the following courses during the months of May and June:

• Taking Great Pictures — four sessions — Tuesday and Thursday, May 27 and June 5 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.;

• Intro to Computers Windows 7 — seven sessions, Mondays and Wednesdays, June 2 to June 23 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.;

• Hand-Held Devices — four sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 10 to June 19 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Each person works at their own computer, following the instructor’s lead from his computer projected to a large screen in front. The Senior Center is located at 299 Greenwich Avenue.
