The Greenwich High School boys lacrosse team didn’t waste any time getting back in the winning column. After its loss Saturday afternoon against Darien, the Cards came back on Tuesday and handed Brien McMahon High School its first FCIAC loss, 11-7.

Leading the way for Greenwich was high-powered Decker Curran, who finished with five goals and had two of them down the stretch to preserve the victory. Ryan Flippin added two goals for Big Red, while Sam Saleeby, Charlie Rodger, Jaime Paradise and Luke Finneran each added one goal in the victory.

With the victory, Greenwich improved to 12-2 overall and 8-1 in the Fairfield Country Interscholastic Athletic Conference. The Senators fell to 10-2 overall and 7-1 in the FCIAC.
