Volunteers needed for 2014 Puttin’ on the Dog Festival

Help ensure the success of Adopt-A-Dog’s beloved fund-raiser, Puttin’ on the Dog, by signing up to volunteer. The fund-raiser, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21, marks the 27th annual festival that attracts some 7,000 people and their dogs.

A team of more than 150 volunteers is essential to running the Puttin’ On The Dog Festival. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend a meeting on Tuesday, May 13 at 7 p.m. at the Glenville Fire Station Meeting Hall.

The Puttin’ On The Dog Festival is Adopt-A-Dog’s primary resource to generate the critical dollars necessary to operate their caring sanctuary in Armonk, N.Y.

The festival at Greenwich’s Roger Sherman Baldwin Park includes many demonstrations, competitions, displays and fun activities for children and the entire family.
