Fairfield Museum announces IMAGES winners

Among the winners of Fairfield Museum and History Center’s IMAGES 2014 photography exhibition are Greenwich residents John Clark and Roger Busch.

The two were chosen from more than 900 entries submitted by Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts photographers. IMAGES 2014 is the Fairfield Museum’s sixth annual juried photography show. As part of the celebration, 18 photographs have been selected by the judges for a special exhibition opening mid May at First Niagara’s Fairfield branches on the Post Road and Black Rock Turnpike.

The photographs will be on view May 11 to June 22.

The exhibit will kick off with a Gala Preview Party on Saturday, May 10 from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are now available online at Fairfieldhistory.org. A Museum After Dark Artists’ Reception is also planned for Thursday, May 15 from 6 to 8 p.m., and is free and open to the public.

IMAGES 2014 Professional/Serious Amateur category grand prize winner will receive a 10-day exhibition at the Southport Galleries. Winners will be announced at the Preview Gala. For a complete list of IMAGES 2014 Winners, visit Fairfieldhistory.org/exhibitions/images2014.
