Greenwich Academy softball on four-game winning streak

The Greenwich Academy softball team is on a roll right now and Masters was unable to stop the Gators yesterday afternoon. The Gators scored eight times in the first inning and never looked back, coming away with the 15-1 victory over Masters School.

GA got strong pitching from sophomore Jordan Smith, who only allowed two hits and struck out 11 batters. Offensively, Ally Staub, Hiromi Terai and Tyla Taylor each went 2-for-3, while Rachel Windreich went 2-for-4. Another highlight came from Katie Tenefrancia, who finished with a massive three-run triple.

With the victory, Greenwich Academy improved to 5-5 on the season.
