Garden panel on May 7 at Perrot Memorial Library

Get a dose of parks and recreation at a panel at Perrot Library on Wednesday, May 7 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The event, Community Gardens, Community Spaces, will feature local experts who will discuss creating and supporting sustainable community gardens. They’ll also speak about how the town utilizes, maintains, and beautifies its open spaces such as Greenwich Point, the Pinetum, and Greenwich public parks.

The panel includes: Patty Sechi, Founder and President of Greenwich Community Gardens; Terri Browne Kutzen, Chairwoman of Greenwich Community Gardens; Nancy Caplan, Chairwoman of Greenwich Board of Parks and Recreation; Mary Hull, Board member of Greenwich Green and Clean, Greenwich Point Conservancy and Greenwich Tree Conservancy; and Heidi Smith, Board member of the Greenwich Tree Conservancy.

This free program is for all residents who are concerned about preserving and enhancing the town’s natural environments.
