Romantic Titans concert at Norwalk Concert Hall on May 3

The Greenwich Choral Society (GCS) is celebrating an evening of Romantic Titans on Saturday, May 3, at 4:30 p.m in Norwalk Concert Hall.

The concert concludes the Choral Society’s 90th season and showcases the music of Dvorak, Brahms, and Mendelssohn. Soloists for the concert are Soprano Mithra Mastropierro, Tenor Adam Herskowitz and Baritone Dong Kyu Oh.

As a special feature, former GCS choristers and soloists, Side-By-Side Singers, Choral Partners and GCS Scholarship Recipients will reunite with the Greenwich Choral Society to sing How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place by Brahms.

The afternoon promises to be one of “soulful inspiration” that recognizes “the legacy of great choral music.” The Choral Society’s programming this year was designed “to celebrate the generosity, gratitude and legacy of the past 90 years.”

Tickets for the concert are $38 and $28, with student ticket prices of $30 and $23 that apply to teens aged 13 to 17-years-old or college students with valid student ID. Children 12 years of age and under may attend free when accompanied by an adult (one child per adult). The free child ticket must be purchased through the adult and child package.

Tickets can be ordered via email at [email protected] or by calling the GCS office at 203-622-5136. Group sales are available by phone. Norwalk Concert Hall is located at 125 East Avenue, Norwalk.
