Greenwich Community Gardens to hold sign-up days for plots

Sign up for a plot at the new Bible Street Community Garden by attending one of Greenwich Community Garden’s (GCG) plot sign-up meetings on Saturday, April 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cos Cob Firehouse.

Come learn more about how the garden will operate and the responsibilities of community gardeners and complete an application and pay for your garden plot. There will be approximately 90 plots assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The annual garden fee is $50, payable by check only.

Prospective gardeners will be able to download the new Gardeners Handbook from the Greenwich Community Gardening’s website, handbook includes important garden information, plus the sign-up forms you need to reserve a garden plot.

Handbooks and sign-up forms will also be available on sign-up days at the firehouse.

The sign-up sessions will take place at Cos Cob Firehouse’s second floor meeting room, at 200 East Putnam Avenue.
