The Greenwich High School football team will host its 14th annual golf outing and charity auction at the E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course on June 2.

The course is located at 451 Stillwater Road in Stamford.

The four-player scramble offers golfers the opportunity to experience a great day of golf while having fun supporting the Big Red football team. Each team includes cart and green fees, hospitality gifts, lunch, dinner and drinks. An auction and raffle will conclude the days events.

The Greenwich High School football program is the largest sports program at GHS. The team has enjoyed tremendous success for many years. In the past, this outing has helped head coach Rich Albonizio purchase equipment pay for seven-on-seven tournaments and camps to keep the programs tradition going.

Check-in is slated for 11:15 a.m. and lunch will begin at 11:30. The shotgun golf start will take place at 1 p.m. and dinner is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Individuals and foursomes are welcome. Reserve early, as space is limited.

Tournament sponsorships are a big part of the fund raising. They are tax deductible and include a sign displaying the corporate or family name. Last year there where request from supporters of the program who where not big golfers to attend the dinner, this year attending dinner only at Zody’s 19th Hole is an option.
