Yaegy Park will perform this Saturday.

Welcome back springtime with the music of Mozart and Bach at the Foundation for the Revival of Classical Culture’s concert at Greenwich Library on Saturday, April 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

16-year-old violin virtuoso Yaegy Park will be performing selected works of Mozart and Bach, all for charity. The net proceeds of the concert will be dedicated to supporting the Foundation’s 2014 Summer School program, which allows other young musicians to play music.

Despite her youth, Ms. Park is a renowned violinist who has performed worldwide. She first came to attention at the age of four, as the youngest winner of the Houston Young Artist Concert Audition in 2001. In 2012, she was the winner of the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, and took first prize at the International Russian Rotary Children’s Music Competition in Moscow. Mostly recently, she performed at the Foundation’s JFK: Plus 50—Passing the Torch event last November at Riverside Church in New York City.

She has studied with Catherine Cho at Juilliard Pre-College School since 2010.

Tickets for the event are $25. To purchase a ticket, call 203-441-7488 or visit Fftrocc.org/#!tickets/c5gs. The concert will take place in the Greenwich Library’s Cole Auditorium at 101 West Putnam Avenue.
