Safe boating course scheduled at Greenwich Water Club

Come learn from the experts, have fun, and satisfy the educational requirements at a comprehensive one-day, NASBLA-approved course scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at the Greenwich Water Club.

The class completes necessary requirements for both the Safe Boating Certificate and Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operations required to operate vessels on Connecticut waters. The course covers all major aspects of safe boating, including choices of boats, safety equipment, Connecticut boating laws, boat handling, radio communications, personal watercraft operation, and more.

There is a $75 fee, which includes textbook and class materials. Sign-in for the class begins at 7:45 a.m. and the lectures begin at 8 a.m. The class will finish by 5 p.m. Have your Connecticut Conservation ID number handy.
