Animal-themed show opens at Flinn

See the animal world through another lens at Animalia, a show in the Flinn Gallery opening today, March 20, with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

Eight artists will display their animal themed works, sponsored by the Friends of the Greenwich Library. The show interprets the human relationship with the animal kingdom and questions how we interact with animals from differing artistic viewpoints.

Artists include Jaclyn Conley, April DeMarco, Anne Lemanski, Kathryn Lynch, Jane O’Hara, Alexandra Sax, Jain Tarnower and Brad Woodfin. The Flinn curators include Yvette Kahn, Patricia Reeves, Barbara Richards and Joann Terraciano.

The show will be on view through April 30, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays, from 1 to 5 p.m. There are extended hours on Thursdays to 8 p.m. Artworks will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Friends of the Greenwich Library.

The Flinn Gallery is located on the second floor of the library.
