Greenwich author launches campaign

People can join local businesses and residents in supporting Greenwich resident and aspiring author Debra Jean Longobardi at her crowd-funding book party on Thursday, March 20, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at a local home.

She is embarking on the first of a three-part series, with support from the community and a national crowd-funding campaign.

She will officially launch her campaign at the event. Sponsors include Barbara Brock Zaccagnini of Coldwell Banker, Ferrari Club, Vince, Val’s Wines & Liquors, Fernando Luis Alvarez Gallery, Blackstones Steakhouse, L’escale, Vinoteca, Layla’s Falafel, Di Mare Pastry Shop and St. Moritz Bakery.

Attendees are encouraged to make a $100 donation to the campaign to guarantee entrance.

Security will be onsite to direct traffic. The event will take place at 158 Clapboard Ridge Road, a private residential estate.
