Granoff Architects announces appointments

Greenwich’s Granoff Architects has announced four new appointments to its team: Bart Donahue, Brian Kanefsky, Robert Metzgar and Lisa Marie D’Elia.

Mr. Donahoe recently joined Granoff Architects as a Commercial Senior Designer. He studied Architectural Engineering and Design at Norwalk Community College and worked at CPG Architects in Stamford. There he established new standards for marketing, design, permit and construction drawings.

Mr. Kanofsky graduated in 2000 from Temple University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Architecture. He has an extensive amount of experience in designing and managing a wide variety of project types from small renovations to large ground-up commercial construction including healthcare, academic, commercial, government and corporate projects. Prior to joining Granoff Architects, he was a project architect at Hillier Group in Philadelphia and at Stonehill Taylor Architects in New York City.

Mr. Metzgar received his Master of Architecture from Syracuse University. A Fairfield County native, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He previously worked for Darien-based architect Neil Hauck and Haverson Architecture in Greenwich. With his 3-D modeling and design skills, he is working on a variety of project types in residential, multi-housing and commercial.

Ms. D’Elia started as an intern last summer for Granoff Architects while attending New York School of Interior Design. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in December, she was offered the full time position as a Designer on the Commercial Interiors team.
