Health care Forum rescheduled

Twice delayed by the weather, Greenwich’s state representatives are hoping the third time is the charm as they seek to talk to residents about health care.

The previous two attempts to discuss the impact of the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) were canceled because of snow. Now the healthcare forum hosted by local government officials has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Town Hall’s Meeting Room.

State Reps. Livvy Floren (R-149), Stephen Walko (R-150) and Fred Camillo (R-151) and State Sen. L. Scott Frantz (R-36) are hosting this informational session, which is free and open to all.

The program will also feature panelists Kevin Counihan, CEO of Access Health, Linda Ziac, President of the Caregiver Resource Association and James A. Brunetti, II, DO, Walsh/Brunetti LLC Internal Medicine Practice. They will provide an in-depth look at the state’s health insurance requirements and marketplace.

Town Hall is located at 101 Field Point Road. For more information on the forum, call 860-240-8384.
