St. Lawrence holds Saturday tag sale

It’s time to shake off those winter blahs and what better way to do it than with a community tag sale? This Saturday, the St. Lawrence Society will be doing just that.

The tag sale, which will take place at the St. Lawrence Club at 86 Valley Road in Cos Cob, will be held on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. And there’s still time for people to participate as sellers, not just as eager customers. But space is limited so interested people should act now.

To purchase a table to sell items, interested participants can call Denise Longo at 203-496-2892. The price to reserve a table is $25 and people can also donate items to be sold as well as long as those items are in good, sellable conditions. People who are interested in arranging a drop off of donated items should also contact Ms. Longo.

The set up for the event will be Friday, Feb. 28 from 4 to 9 p.m. The doors for the sale will open on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. People who have tables set up will need to have change ready for transactions as the club will not provide it.

This is the first sale the St. Lawrence Society has done and its organizers are hoping to make it an annual event.
