Tippett opens Courage & Faith Series

What does it mean to be human? Peabody Award winning broadcaster Krista Tippett will address this question at the first of Christ Church’s Courage and Faith speaking series on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 7 pm.

Ms. Tippett, author and NPR radio host, has a unique combination of experience as an international journalist, a Master of Divinity degree from Yale University, and a weekly radio show where she is able to tap into some of today’s best minds.

On her radio show, On Being, she discusses topics spanning parenting to neuroscience, and traces the ancient, animating questions of human existence: What matters in life? What matters in death? How do we love? How are we to be of service to each other and to the world?

As part of her latest studies on how we structure our common life and our connections to each other, she will present her lecture Rediscovering the Virtue of Civility at Christ Church.

The event will take place in the Christ Church Greenwich Parish House Loft. There is no charge to attend, nor RSVP required, but seating is limited.

Christ Church Greenwich is located at 254 East Putnam Avenue.
