Town Hall hosts health care discussion

There are no shortage of lingering questions about the Affordable Care Act and how this affects Connecticut residents. Now Greenwich’s delegation to Hartford will look to help.

People confused about what the new law means to them and their health plans can come get their questions answered at a panel talk at Town Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., featuring Linda Ziac, president of the Caregiver Resource Center, Kevin Counihan, the CEO of Access Health, and James A. Brunnetti II, a lawyer at Walsh/Brunnetti LLC.  This event is being sponsored by state Sen. L. Scott Frantz (R-36th) and state Reps. Livvy Floren (R-149th), Stephen Walko (R-150th) and Fred Camillo (R-151st) and all are scheduled to attend.

Topics discussed will include the expanded access afforded by the new health care changes, and mental health and substance use disorder benefits. This event was previously scheduled for earlier in the month but was postponed due to bad weather.
