College seminar to be held on Monday

Snow postponed the first attempt, but Greenwich parents and students looking for an edge in the often difficult college application process will have another attempt to get it.

You can learn insider college admissions secrets at a seminar sponsored by Greenwich Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. It will take place at Greenwich Library.

The seminar, The Top Ten Myths About College Admissions: How To Prepare Your Child To Get Into The Best Schools, was originally scheduled to take place on Monday, Feb. 3. However the heavy snow that hit Greenwich last week forced its postponement.

Luckily for area students and concerned parents, the event will still take place on this new date. Paul Lowe from Greenwich Admissions Advisors will discuss how college applications have changed from the past and how to prepare early for acceptance to an Ivy League school.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the seminar begins at 6 p.m. A payment of $15 must be made in advance.

Register online at Greenwichchamber.com or call 203-869-3500.
