Free tax help at Greenwich Library

Looking for help on taxes? The Greenwich Library is offering free tax assistance, courtesy of VITA volunteers, every Monday and Saturday, beginning Feb. 8 through April 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those interested should bring their 2012 tax return, all 2013 W2s and 1099s, all wage and salary information, information on interest and dividends received and paid, and taxes on real estate, property and vehicles.

This year, a state or federal photo ID is also required.

The program is being held in the Cole Auditorium Foyer. On March 8 and April 7, the program will take place in the Jewel room. Check the Greenwich Library online calendar for schedule updates.
