Author Jerome Charyn to give talk at Senior Center

On Monday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m., award-winning American author Jerome Charyn will present a book lecture.

Mr. Charyn has earned a long-standing reputation as an inventive and prolific chronicler of real and imagined American life. He is the author of nearly 50 published works, which span 30 novels, three memoirs, eight graphic novels, two books about film, short stories, plays and works of non-fiction.

His work has received numerous accolades, including nominations for the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction, and multiple New York Times Book of the Year awards. With President’s Day just a few weeks away, Mr. Charyn will be particularly focusing on his novel I Am Abraham, which is about Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War.

The lecture will take place in the main dining room. The Greenwich Senior Center is located at 299 Greenwich Avenue.
