Greenwich youth basketball clinics set to start Thursday

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that there is still space available in the youth basketball clinics that will begin at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Thursdays, starting Jan. 30 for six weeks ending March 13.

There will be no class on Feb. 13.

The program for children in kindergarten will run from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Children in first and second grades will meet from 4:30 to 5:15 p,m,, and third and fourth graders meet from 5:15 to 6 p.m.

The cost for the program is $100 for the six-week program

Coach John Czarnecki will teach this junior basketball class. Coach Czarnecki is certified by the State of Connecticut, and has coached for over 25 years. He has coached for the Greenwich Basketball Association, Greenwich Flame travel team, Greenwich Boys and Girls Club, and the freshman, junior varsity and varsity basketball teams at Greenwich High School.
