Salon O offers blow-outs for a good cause

Get your hair blown-out by top stylists to help raise money for children with cancer.

On Monday, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Salon O in Greenwich will host a “blow-dry” fundraising event with all proceeds to benefit Sunrise Day Camp.

Sunrise Day Camp, located in Pearl River, N.Y., is a summer day camp that is free of charge for children with cancer and their siblings. Located on 95 beautiful wooded acres in the Henry Kaufman Campgrounds, it is one of the only full summer camps in the country dedicated to children with cancer.

Ten of Salon O’s top hair stylists have volunteered their time to participate in this fundraiser, in the hopes of giving children with cancer the opportunity to attend summer camp. Crush Wine Bar will be providing delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

“One of our customers told us about Sunrise Day Camp and we were so humbled hearing about it. The blow-dry event was a perfect union — doing what we do best — creating beautiful hair and helping Sunrise Day Camp at the same time,” said Omar Roth, one of Salon O’s owners.

For more information and to make an appointment, contact Salon O at 203-531-3000 or Salono.net. Space is limited.

Blow-dry appointments are $100 and only cash or checks will be accepted. Salon O is located at 239 Mill Street.

Sunrise Day Camp at Pearl River is a program of the Rosenthal JCC in collaboration with the Barry and Florence Friedberg JCC. For more information or to make a donation, visit Rosenthaljcc.org/sunrise or Sunrisedaycamp.org.
