YMCA golf tournament set for June 18

The YMCA of Greenwich will hold its 18th annual Lou Ferraro Golf Classic on Monday, June 18 at Tamarack Country Club to benefit the YMCA.

The tournament is named after Lou Ferraro who, according to the YMCA, “embodied the core values the YMCA upholds; honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.” His son, Jim, is underwriting the cost of the tournament so that all proceeds go to the YMCA’s 2012 Annual Campaign to fund childcare, after-school programs, scholarships, senior programs, water therapy and special needs programs.

Individuals, or foursomes, interested in playing should contact Cathy Cercena at 203-869-1630, ext. 516 or via e-mail [email protected] Sponsorship opportunities are available for corporations and individuals as well. All proceeds will benefit the YMCA.
