Spring chickens

Each spring, kindergarten students at Stanwich School take part in the “Chick Project.”

As part of the science curriculum, the students watched and observed chicken eggs in an incubator for 21 days. Once the chicks hatch, they stay in the classroom for a week to be observed and cuddled by the students like William Bennett who poses here with one of his fine feathered friends.
