Jepsen needs to investigate Amazon’s practices

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor

I recently purchased baby formula from an marketplace third-party seller.

But when it arrived, I noticed that the expiration date printed on it was 30 days from when I received it. Normally formula has a one-year expiry. I complained to the seller and Amazon but they both told me they would not help me.

I would like to ask George Jepsen, the attorney general of Connecticut, to investigate Amazon’s policies on selling expiring products to the citizens of Connecticut, especially because of Amazon’s investment in the state. Thank you.
