Reilly needs a new attitude in 2014

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor

Constant Post letter writer Jim C. Reilly had a few things to say recently about a letter I had written about the tone of his complaints and now I would like to respond.

Yes , “the clown,” as you once referred to me in my advice to you about “self-improvement,” would like to ask you a simple question. Why do your letters to the editor always seem to refer to events that have happened many long years ago?

Yes — Mr. Rip Van Winkle — we are now in 2014 and most of my fellow “clowns” could not care less about all your whining and complaining about the past. Mr. Jim C. Reilly, you seem to enjoy putting down those in power both past and present while doing little to remain steady, intelligent, self-disciplined, persuasive and reliable.

To think you would like to represent our great town of Greenwich and its citizens. That was a joke to most voters and now, sir, you wonder why you get “no respect”?

I humbly urge you Mr. Reilly to please consider a positive attitude for 2014.

You will do yourself and your readers a greater service. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to reading your next letter to the editor.
