On Monday night at Madison Square Garden, Greenwich native Cam Atkinson was a key contributor in the Columbus Blue Jackets beating the New York Rangers in overtime, 5-4. With 19:05 to play in the second period and playing 4-on-4 hockey, Atkinson stole the puck from just inside the Columbus blue line and darted down the middle of the ice on a breakaway.  While skating in on New York goalie Henrik Lundqvist, Atkinson faked to the left and pushed the push in the right corner of the net to give the Blue Jackets a 2-1 lead.  The goal was his 11th of the season and his first goal since the Dec. 19 game against the Flyers.
