Listen to ‘Legends of the 60s’ at benefit concert

microphone stockThe Greenwich United Way will mark its 80th anniversary by rocking out at “Legends of the 60s — Greenwich United Way Rocks!” — a benefit concert at the Palace Theatre on Thursday, Jan. 30.

Performing will be lead singers Peter Noone from Herman’s Hermits, Micky Dolenz of The Monkees and Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders. The three 60s rock stars will bring back some of their bands’ greatest sounds at an 8 p.m. concert to benefit the organization founded in 1933 as the Greenwich Community Chest and Council. Get ready to sing along to Something Good, Kicks and I’m a Believer, just to name a few of the artists’ popular tunes.

VIP tickets cost $200 or more and include priority concert seating and admission to the VIP Cocktail Party at The Palace prior to the show.

To purchase VIP tickets, call the Greenwich United Way at 203-869-2221 or visit Unitedway-greenwich.org.

To purchase concert tickets only for $75 or $50, contact The Palace Theatre Box Office separately at 203-325-4466.
