Sacred Heart basketball returns to form with win at KIT

After falling to Hamden Hall a few days ago, the Convent of the Sacred Heart basketball team returned to its winning ways yesterday afternoon, crushing Watkinson 56-39 in the first game of the Kingswood Invitational Holiday Tournament.

Emily O’Sullivan had a standout day for the Tigers, finishing with a game-high 15 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks. Delaney Colaio also threw in a strong performance, adding 12 points and two rebounds. Not to be outdone was Lilly O’Sullivan, who finished with 10 points and six rebounds.

Rounding out the day for Sacred Heart was Colleen O’Neill, who finished with 10 points, four assists and seven rebounds.
