Sacred Heart basketball falls to Hamden Hall, 62-44

The Convent of the Sacred Heart basketball played a sloppy second half and Hamden Hall was able to take advantage during last night’s game.

The Tigers, who were in the lead 27-19 at the break, were outscored in the second half 32-12 and  fell for the first time this season, 62-44.

Emily O’Sullivan was the leader for the Tigers, scoring a team-high 12 points and also grabbed 12 rebounds. Not to be outdone was Colleen O’Neill, who finished with seven points. Her sister, Claire O’Neill, netted five points. As a team, Hamden Hall shot 19-for-25 from the free throw line, while Sacred Heart finished 2-for-4.
