Greenwich High ice hockey falls to West Haven, 5-3

The Greenwich High School boys ice hockey team opened its season earlier today with a 5-3 loss to West Haven High School.

After the Blue Devils took an early 1-0 lead, Tommy Feda found the back of the net with 14:09 left in the second period. From there, it was the Luke Finneran show, as he netted the next two goals. The first was with 12:33 left in the second period and the second was just over two minutes later.

However, West Haven High School scored four unanswered goals to claim the 5-3 lead, the last being an empty net goal.
