‘Enchanted Forest’ benefit Nov. 22 at Hyatt Regency

Discover a world of magic at the Junior League of Greenwich’s (JLG) annual holiday fund-raiser, The Enchanted Forest — “Celebration of Sweetness,” from Friday, Nov. 22 to Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich.

A festive event for the entire family, The Enchanted Forest draws thousands of attendees each year from the Greenwich community. This year’s Enchanted Forest will feature beautifully decorated trees and gingerbread houses available for purchase throughout the weekend. Doors open on Friday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. for a “Sneak Peak Holiday Boutique” featuring more than 50 vendors.

Once inside at the sneak peak, people will be able to enjoy candy-themed cocktails while shopping for holiday presents. In addition, new this year is a “Buy It Now” feature on select gingerbread houses and trees.

The official opening of the Enchanted Forest will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. for Santa’s Breakfast attendees and patrons shopping hour. General admission hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Nov. 23 to 24. There will be a sweet selection of activities including entertainment by Graham Clarke and a new children’s afternoon tea event, “Clara’s Tea.”

Other features and highlights occurring throughout the weekend include gingerbread workshops, complimentary family entertainment by a host of local acts, choral groups and dance companies, Holiday Playland, Giving Shop and “Sweet Soiree,” the Saturday night cocktail party.
