‘Thanksgivukkah’ on tap

It’s almost time for ‘Thanksgivukkah — The unique convergence of a Jewish holiday, Hanukah, with the secular holiday of Thanksgiving, which will bring people together for two big celebrations happening at the same time this year.

How will you and your family experience this once-in-a-lifetime occurrence? Join the conversation about Thanksgivukkah and this unique opportunity to combine traditions of food, drink, decorations, desserts, music and more with Jewish Family Services of Greenwich (JFS).

Join the conversation about the opportunities and challenges of interfaith living. JFS members gather in private homes once a month to explore the interfaith life experience. Members discuss tricky situations with in-laws, share thoughts and feelings about children and family, learn about the holidays, eat delicious food and laugh a whole lot in an uncensored, non-judgmental, frank and uplifting experience.

The event will take place on Nov. 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at a private home in town. There is no charge. RSVP by Nov. 15 to Tatiana Nichiforova at 203-622-1881 or e-mail her at [email protected] to find out the location of the program.
