Opening reception for gallery set

Add a little color to your day on Nov. 15 when the town’s newest art gallery, AiBo Fine Asian Art/Glenn Aber Contemporary Art, holds an opening reception from 5 to 10 p.m.

Wine and hors-d’oeuvres will be served as attendees enjoy paintings, sculptures and photography from artists all over the world, including a unique display of rare Vietnamese work. Experience a variety of techniques including sand casted glass sculptures by Marlene Rose, vibrant paintings with pigment colors from ground gemstones by Boun (Jean-Luc Virard), as well as unique photography by Mark Kessell and his Daguerreotypes.

Glenn Aber’s interest in Vietnamese art led to his extensive travels to Hanoi, and other cities throughout Asia, enabling him to establish a unique art collection. His passion for the arts and various Asian cultures was the impetus for the foundation of AiBo Fine Asian Art in 2007.

Mr. Aber wanted to bring this rare and valuable art to western culture.

Glenn Aber Contemporary Art includes local and international art exemplifying a traditional process mixed with new and cutting edge methodology.

The new three-room gallery is a combination of both realms — a venue where art from the other side of the world shares a space with contemporary art of a more local establishment.
