‘Change the Future’ at Nov. 12 gala

‘Celebrate the harvest’ on Nov. 12 as the Greenwich Country Club presents its inaugural Change the Future Gala.

Executive Chefs will come together to prepare an elegant and delicious meal, paired with wines and locally sourced. This gathering of talented and entertaining chefs will benefit the Connecticut American Diabetes Association and its Stop Diabetes campaign.

This event is a prestigious formal celebration, which recognizes prominent corporate leaders, humanitarians and medical professionals for their community service and dedication to stopping diabetes and helping to find a cure. The club will present its Stop Diabetes Heroes Awards at the event.

Michel Nischan, sustainable food pioneer, chef and author, will be honored and will also emcee the chef event. Also to be honored are Greenwich residents Linda and Pete Cummin, longtime leaders in the fight against diabetes and passionate supporters of the American Diabetes Association and its Research Foundation.
